State Licensed Data Center Counsel

To support Oracle's expanding global data center portfolio, the remote State Licensed Data Center Counsel will provide legal and regulatory guidance on energy and environmental matters related to the development, construction, and operation of data centers, requiring 5-10 years of regulatory experience. Key responsibilities Provide legal support for complex data center power and energy transactions Collaborate with cross-functional teams to shape and implement regulatory initiatives impacting data center development Advise on compliance with federal and state regulatory frameworks affecting energy, utilities, and environmental permitting Required qualifications J.D. from an accredited law school and active membership in at least one U.S. state bar Minimum of 8 years of relevant legal experience in a law firm, government agency, or in-house legal department Proven expertise in energy law, environmental law, or infrastructure regulatory matters Knowledge of electric utility and power sector regulation Experience with environmental permitting and compliance, land use, or infrastructure permitting
