Skilled Draftsman OpportunityWe are seeking a skilled draftsman to join our team. The draftsman will be responsible for creating detailed technical drawings and plans based on the specifications given by engineers. These drawings will be used as blueprints to guide the technicians as to how to move forward with their job. Our ideal candidate has a keen eye for detail, a good understanding of HVAC systems, Plumbing, and Electrical codes and regulations. A good understanding of scale when doing drawings. The role of the draftsman is to translate conceptual designs into a set of technical instructions for a project execution. Synergy Companies is a full service Energy and environmental management contractor specializing in residential and small commercial energy upgrade products and services.Responsibilities:Creating detailed computer-aided design drawings as per the instructions and specifications provided by the engineersRevising and updating existing drawings reflecting design changesEnsuring final designs comply with regulations and quality standardsCollaborating with architects, engineers, and project managers to understand and implement project objectivesChecking drawings for mistakes and inaccuraciesCreating and altering construction sketchesFollow project schedules and deadlinesMaintaining organized work files and project documentationConduct site assessments to determine suitability for developmentEnsure compliance with zoning laws, environmental regulations, and other legal requirementsConduct feasibility studies and risk assessments to mitigate potential project challengesQualifications:Proven work experience as a draftsman in residential upgradesProficient knowledge of Computer-aided design software and other drafting toolsExcellent technical design skillsGood understanding of manufacturing processes and construction methodsStrong communication and project management skillsDiploma in drafting, engineering, or related fieldsMinimum of 3-5 years of experience in site planning or a related fieldKnowledge of zoning laws, land use regulations, and environmental standardsAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to conduct thorough site assessments and feasibility studiesBenefits:401k after 1 year of employment 50% matchMedical insurance at no cost for the employeeVision insuranceDental insuranceVacation 40 hr.
