Work Environment\nThis role allows for flexibility in the remote work setting while also incorporating in-person services at our outpatient office located in Hyattsville, Maryland. Our outpatient facility is designed to provide a modern and comfortable space for clients and staff alike, emphasizing a clean and welcoming atmosphere. Our team actively collaborates via telehealth technology as well as through direct interactions, fostering effective communication and ensuring continuity of care.
Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' psychosocial needs, evaluating their unique situations, strengths, and available support networks. \n
- Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, setting clear and achievable therapeutic goals tailored to their specific circumstances. \n
- Establish strong therapeutic rapport to foster trust and encourage patient advocacy, ensuring clients feel supported throughout their journey. \n
- Provide both individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based practices to address a broad spectrum of issues, from anxiety and depression to trauma and relationship challenges. \n
- Support patients in developing coping strategies and life skills that enhance their ability to manage challenges effectively. \n
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation for all client interactions in compliance with licensing regulations and organizational policies. \n
As an LCSW at Delamere Mental Health, you will serve a diverse clientele of adults and adolescents grappling with various mental health conditions. Your focus will involve tailoring therapeutic approaches to meet the needs of individuals from different backgrounds and circumstances. You will also have the opportunity to engage with family members if deemed beneficial for treatment plans.
Qualifications\n- \n
- Must possess a current and valid Maryland LCSW license. \n
- A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience providing psychotherapy is required. \n
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team. \n
- Knowledge of a variety of therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), family therapy, and trauma-informed care. \n

- A background in providing therapeutic support to both adult and pediatric populations is preferred. \n
- Experience working with diverse communities and understanding cultural sensitivities is advantageous. \n
- Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems to manage patient documentation and care coordination. \n
