Remote Art Development Intern

At Catawiki, every day brings the extraordinary! Whether it’s Daniel Ricciardo’s Formula 1 Car , a Woolly Mammoth’s Skeleton , Lady Gaga’s Jumpsuit or Usain Bolt’s running shoe , we encounter exceptional objects every day.

We’re a one-of-a-kind marketplace for buying and selling special objects. Each week, more than 100,000 unique items are auctioned, all carefully curated by our passionate in-house experts.

Having sold over 25 million unique objects, our mission is to become the world’s most popular destination for special objects. As a growing, diverse and sustainable scale-up, we proudly live by three core values. If these values resonate with you, we’d love to explore how you can join us.

• Taking ownership and driving impact
• Being open to change and feedback
• Being passionate about our mission and our customers.

Are you looking for a hands-on commercial internship where you can build real sales skills, take ownership of projects and work closely with experienced business developers?

Join Catawiki’s Art Sales team and help grow our network of galleries, dealers and artists around the world. You will contribute directly to new seller acquisition, from identifying promising prospects to preparing outreach, proposals and follow-ups.

This is not an observation role. You will lead defined business development projects independently, learn how a high-performing sales team operates and see the commercial impact of your work.

Your contribution will be measured through the quality and growth of the pipeline you build, and the GMV generated by new sellers.

About the Art Sales team

You will join a team of 8 international Key Account Managers and Business Developers based across Europe. We together combine a strong commercial mindset with deep knowledge of the art market.

We value ownership, transparency and results. We share best practices, challenge assumptions and test new approaches to create impact. You will work closely with 2 experienced Business Developers, who will coach you while giving you the space to take responsibility for your own projects.

Why this internship is exciting

• Own meaningful projects: take responsibility for concrete business development projects across the Netherlands, France, Spain and other international markets

• Gain market exposure: represent Catawiki at events and in conversations with prospective sellers
• Work internationally: collaborate in a direct, fast-moving and performance-oriented team, with flexibility to work from the office and from home
