Sea Mar Community Health Centers is a Federally Qualified Health Center dedicated to providing comprehensive health, human, housing, educational and cultural services to diverse communities, specializing in service to Latinos in Washington State. We are recruiting for an Integrated Mental Health Therapist II, III, or Licensed position (Posting #26992). We are a mandatory COVID-19 and flu vaccine organization. Position Summary The Behavioral Health Department in Lakewood seeks a full-time Integrated Mental Health Therapist (IMHT) or Licensed Therapist. The IMHT serves as a core member of the Clinical Care Team, providing diagnostic assessments, referrals for psychiatric services, case management, and psychoeducational topics such as suicide risk assessment and behavior modification. Responsibilities include documentation, communication with the medical clinic care team, and educating staff on referral processes. The role supports patients with chronic medical and behavioral conditions, including substance use disorders. Hourly Range $28.68–$32.26 (Mental Health Therapist II, III) Annual Salary $73,528.00 (Licensed Therapist) Qualifications a Master’s degree in psychology, counseling, or social work from an accredited institution, including coursework in psychological diagnostics; minimum of 1–3 years of experience for II, 3+ years for III and Licensed levels, either before or after completing the Master’s degree; active WA State Agency‑Affiliated Counselor License or mental health Associate License (Marriage & Family Therapist, Mental Health Counselor, Clinical Social Worker). Licensure may be pending up to 60 days if applied within 7 days of offer; bilingual proficiency in English/Spanish preferred; other languages (Korean, Swahili, Hindi) are preferred. Responsibilities Provide brief, strength‑based, solution‑focused services to adults, children, and families; Assist with emotional and behavioral stabilization, suicide prevention, de‑escalation, and crisis referrals as needed; Offer motivational‑based wellness coaching and help patients set and achieve self‑management goals; Maintain accurate documentation in patient charts, emphasizing communication with the care team; Educate staff on mental health referral processes and psycho‑educational topics per Behavioral Health protocols.
