Estimator - Commercial Drywall & Interiors Location: Atlanta, GA Job Type: Full-Time Salary: $90,000 - $120,000 About the Opportunity An established commercial construction contractor is seeking an Estimator to join its growing New Build Construction team in Atlanta. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented estimating professional with a background in commercial drywall, metal framing, acoustical ceilings, and interior systems. The successful candidate will play a key role in preparing accurate estimates, reviewing project documents, performing takeoffs, and supporting the pursuit of commercial construction projects across a diverse client base. Responsibilities Review drawings, specifications, and bid documents to prepare detailed cost estimates. Perform quantity takeoffs using OST software. Analyze project requirements and identify scope gaps, risks, and value engineering opportunities. Solicit and evaluate vendor and subcontractor pricing. Prepare competitive proposals and bid submissions. Work closely with operations and project management teams to support successful project delivery. Attend pre-bid meetings and assist with project handovers following award. Maintain estimating databases and historical cost information. Support multiple bids and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Requirements Previous estimating experience within commercial drywall and interiors construction. Strong understanding of drywall, metal framing, acoustical ceilings, insulation, and related systems. Experience using OST is required. Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications. Strong numerical, organizational, and communication skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment. Experience estimating large-scale commercial projects is preferred. What's on Offer?
