Job Summary and Qualifications Responsible for providing high quality pre-hospital advanced life support including assessment, triage, and treatment utilizing standards and guidelines established by HCA Houston Healthcare AirLife Medical Director(s). The Flight Paramedic is responsible for carrying out the mission and goals of HCA Houston Healthcare AirLife, assuring that safety remains the highest priority throughout the transport continuum. What qualifications you will need: Advanced Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date Neonate Resuscitation must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date PALS Pediatric Advanced Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date Paramedic Flight Paramedic Certification (FP‑C) must be obtained within 2 years of employment start date Advanced Trauma Care for Nurse, or Advanced Trauma Life Support, or Critical Care Emergency Medical Transport Program, or Trauma Nursing Core Course must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date Advanced Provider Course ITLS, or Prehospital Trauma Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date HCA Gulf Coast Division is an affiliation of hospitals serving greater Houston area and South Texas.
