FLSA STATUS:  Exempt

LOCATION:  Anchorage, Alaska

SCHEDULE:  Full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Flexibility on hours and remote workdays as part of a regular schedule. Occasional evenings and weekends required.

SALARY RANGE: $75,000 to $90,000, dependent on experience

The Senior Corporate Engagement Officer is a relationship-driven revenue generator and team player who leads UWA's corporate partnerships portfolio, including individual donor accounts. This role owns the full cycle of corporate engagement, from prospecting and cultivation through solicitation, stewardship, and renewal, with a focus on workplace campaigns, corporate sponsorships, and multi-year partnerships. As a senior-level position on the Development team, this role manages a robust account portfolio, supports the Corporate Engagement Officer, and serves as a strategic partner to the Vice President of Development and the Development team in growing and diversifying UWA's corporate revenue base.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Corporate Account Management

• Own and grow a portfolio of corporate accounts, including individual donor accounts, managing the full engagement cycle from discovery through renewal.
• Develop and execute individualized account plans with clear goals, milestones, and stewardship touchpoints.
• Serve as the primary relationship manager for key corporate partners, ensuring multiple points of contact between UWA and each account.
• Identify and pursue new corporate accounts, expanding UWA's reach into untapped sectors and companies.

Workplace Campaign Leadership

• Lead UWA's workplace campaign strategy for assigned accounts, including Employee Campaign Coordinator (ECC) support, campaign materials, and engagement activities.
• Develop and deliver compelling presentations to corporate leaders and employee audiences that connect giving to community impact.
• Track campaign metrics and use data to assess account health, identify risks, and drive continuous improvement.

Corporate Sponsorships and Partnerships

• Identify and pursue corporate sponsorship opportunities tied to UWA events, initiatives, and impact areas.
• Coordinate training and fundraising events.
• Build multi-year partnership proposals that align corporate social responsibility (CSR) priorities with UWA's community impact work.
• Collaborate with the Vice President of Development and President and CEO on high-capacity corporate cultivation and solicitation.
• Identify and re-engage lapsed corporate accounts, developing targeted strategies to reactivate dormant relationships.

Data, Strategy, and Operations

• Analyze market trends, account performance, and donor data to inform corporate engagement strategies and identify growth opportunities and risks.
• Use data to assess account health, prioritize outreach, and drive continuous improvement across the portfolio.
• Support the Corporate Engagement Officer, sharing best practices and building account management capability across the team.
• Participate in securing foundation, grant, and other funding sources.
• Clearly present on UWA's goals, initiatives, and programs.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in Andar (CRM), including account activities, gifts, and next steps.
• Collaborate across the Development team to ensure a consistent donor experience and alignment on shared revenue goals.
• Contribute to annual revenue forecasting and departmental budget planning.
• Performs other related duties as assigned by management.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

• This job has no supervisory responsibilities. Provides support and peer mentorship to the Corporate Engagement Officer. 

QUALIFICATIONS

Required

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
• 3 to 5 years of progressively responsible experience in fundraising, corporate sales, account management, or related fields
• Demonstrated success managing relationships and meeting revenue goals
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including presentation delivery
• Experience with CRM or fundraising database software
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
• Cultural sensitivity and experience working with diverse groups

Preferred

• Familiarity with the Anchorage business and philanthropic community
• Experience with workplace campaign management and ECC programs
• Knowledge of corporate social responsibility (CSR) trends and practices
• Experience with Andar or similar donor management platform

• Occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds (files, program or event materials).
• Specific vision abilities required include close vision and the ability to adjust focus (screen based work).
• Noise level in the work environment is usually moderate (typical office environment).

Field and Outreach Addendum

• Frequently required to stand and walk for extended periods (community tabling, events, site visits).
• Occasionally exposed to outside weather conditions.
• Occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 40 pounds (event or program equipment).
• Reliable transportation required for community based work.
