Job Summary
The Tier 3 SEME Field Service Representative (FSR) serves as the senior technical authority responsible for advanced diagnostics, integration, maintenance, and operational support of complex systems and support equipment within the SEME architecture. This position operates with minimal supervision and provides mission-critical support in both garrison and deployed environments across supported Special Operations Command (SOCOM) component commands.

The Tier 3 FSR is responsible for ensuring system readiness, reliability, and performance while serving as the primary liaison between field operations and engineering teams. The FSR represents TRECIG in direct daily contact with government.

Responsibilities
● Serve as a technical expert providing technical and mission support to the assigned SOCOM component command.
● Perform advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis of complex system failures.
● Provide on-site technical expertise for system operation, maintenance, and repair.
● Lead system integration, testing, and validation efforts for new components and system upgrades.
● Develop and implement preventive and corrective maintenance strategies.
● Ensure operational readiness and system availability in support of mission requirements.
● Interface with engineering teams to resolve systemic and design-related issues.
● Maintain accurate technical documentation, logs, and reports.
● Train and mentor Tier 1 and Tier 2 Field Service Representatives.
● Support deployed or contingency operations as required, including weekend and on-call support for critical system failures.
● Ensure compliance with applicable DoD, host nation (where applicable), and TRECIG organizational standards.
● Prepare and submit required program deliverables, including weekly status reports, trip reports, and daily travel 5W updates (Who, What, When, Where, Why) while on travel status.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred
• Previous experience as an IT Technician or an IT Certification is preferred (Cloud+, Security+, GCISP)
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
• Ability to work well as part of a team
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Understanding of data privacy and security
