Phlebotomist

Phlebotomist - PAML PAML, a Labcorp company, is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team in Renton, WA. Work Schedule Monday - Friday 7:30am - 4:30pm; additional hours and rotating Saturday's as needed. Job Responsibilities Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups. Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc. Perform data entry of patient information accurately and in a timely manner. Process billing information and collect payments when required. Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis. Maintain patient and specimen information logs. Provide superior customer service to all patients. Administer administrative and clerical duties as necessary. Travel to additional sites when needed. Minimum Qualifications Valid Washington State‑issued Phlebotomy License. Preferred Qualifications At least 3 months of phlebotomy experience. At least 6 months of current or prior Labcorp experience in phlebotomy. Additional Job Standards Application for a phlebotomy license filed with the WA Department of Health at time of hire may meet the license requirement. Ability to pass a standardized color blindness test.li> Flexibility to work overtime as needed. Exceptional customer service skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently or in a team environment. Comfortable working under minimal supervision. Pay Range $22.30 - $27.69 per hour. Benefits Employees scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, life, STD/LTD, 401(k), paid time off (PTO) or flexible time off (FTO), tuition reimbursement, and employee stock purchase plan. Employees scheduled to work fewer than 20 hours, casual, intern, and temporary employees are only eligible to participate in the 401(k) plan. Employees on a 7 on/7 off schedule receive all benefits except PTO or FTO.
