Dental Hygiene Assistant

We are currently seeking a reliable, hard-working, and self-starting Dental/Hygiene Assistant to join our practice on a part-time basis. As a Dental/Hygiene Assistant at Dental Inc II, you will play an essential role in supporting our dentists and hygienists during patient treatments. This position requires a motivated individual who can effectively handle chairside assisting duties, maintain a clean and organized work area, and communicate clearly with team members and patients. Your contribution will directly impact the quality of care we provide to our patients.

Dental Hygiene Assistant

Assist dentists and hygienists during various dental procedures to ensure patient comfort and efficient workflow.
Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment in compliance with infection control standards.
Take and develop dental X-rays as needed (X-Ray Certification preferred).
Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-treatment care instructions.
Manage and maintain patient records and documentation accurately.
Ensure clinical areas are clean, organized, and fully stocked with necessary materials.
Assist with scheduling and coordinating patient appointments as required.
Support the dental team with administrative tasks as necessary to promote smooth operations.

full-time $31,000 - $40,600 per year

Work schedule: Tuesday to Monday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM (closed Saturdays and Sundays).

• Experienced Dental Assistant (3+ years)
• Infection Control License
• X-ray / Radiography Certification

High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
Minimum of 3 years experience in dental assisting (preferred).
Valid X-Ray certification (preferred).
Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated with a strong work ethic.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Knowledge of infection control protocols and dental office procedures.

Familiarity with dental software and electronic health record systems.
Basic knowledge of hygiene assisting duties.
