Hollister, CA, United StatesJob Title: Electrical Engineer IIIDepartment: EngineeringResponsibilities:• Collaborate with internal cross-functional teams, including Planning, Quality, Manufacturing, and Program Manager to address and resolve hardware production issues.• Provide Analog and digital circuit analysis utilizing Cadence Simulation tools.• Provide technical support of failure investigation and perform hands-on troubleshooting activities through application of rigorous root cause analysis.• Prepare reports and presentations related to production and development activities, including technical proposal submittals, test plans and test reports.• Deliver technical failure analysis reports and presentations to customers.• Support the development, enhancement, and testing of test equipment and manufacturing tooling to optimize performance and efficiency.• Provide support and conduct activities associated with product development as it pertains to documentation, engineering analysis, product drawing preparation, and design Reviews• Support drive cost-reduction initiatives through engineering analysis, product design improvements, drawing preparation, cost estimation, and product planning.• Provide project design support of Internal Research and Development (IRAD) activities, as well as providing engineering leadership and conducting design engineering tasks related to those activities.• Assist with Kaizen initiatives focused on process, production, and test improvement activities.Qualifications – External/internal:Highly organized with proven ability to prioritize workload, meet deadlines, manage several complex projects, and utilize time effectively.Strong computer skills with familiarity with Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPointGood communication skills and ability to present technicalAbility to perform electrical stress analysis, reliability predictions on EEE componentsStrong knowledge of analog circuits theory and operationExperience with Military electrical components requirements a plusExperience using Cadence design suites, which include OrCAD Schematic Capture, PCB Editor, PSpice, etc. or equivalent tools strongly preferred • Experience with government specifications and industry standards related to safety critical electronics a plusFamiliar with DOE, FMEA, PFMEA, Six sigma or similar analysis tools a plusEducation and Experience:B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering, Master’s degree a plus. • 10 to 15 years of experience in a production-related role and in an aerospace defense company a plusWorking Conditions:• Office and engineering lab environmentBenefits:• PTO• 401K• Health Insurance (medical, dental, optical)• Tuition reimbursement• Parental leave (mothers, fathers, and adoptive parents)In addition to the benefits, you’d expect we also offer flexibility, stability, and prosperity:• A unique 4 x 10-hour work-schedule, which grants additional off Fridays based on business demands.• A bonus payment for all associates, paid quarterly, based on performance and behavior metrics.• 7 years of trend setters & trail blazers with new products.• Promote from within culture.• Opportunity to move vertically or laterally.• A culture where we all have a role in building a community where everyone belongs.
