Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough assessments and screenings to accurately evaluate clients’ mental health challenges, tailoring treatment plans to their unique needs. Design and implement individualized therapy programs, ensuring they are based on the latest evidence-based practices and frameworks. Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, providing clients with effective coping strategies and therapeutic techniques to navigate their issues. Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, and case managers to ensure a holistic approach to each client's therapeutic journey. Provide education and support to families as they participate in the healing process, addressing group dynamics and fostering healthy relationships. Maintain accurate, confidential client records in compliance with ethical standards and regulations, ensuring accountability and optimal client care. Patient Population / Client Focus You will work primarily with adult clients presenting with a range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, and family dynamics. Your role will be essential as you provide therapeutic support that empowers individuals and families to achieve their desired outcomes. You'll become an integral part of their recovery journey, encouraging growth and resilience. Qualifications Current and valid state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT). A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field is required. Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to establish rapport and a trusting therapeutic relationship with clients. Demonstrated empathy, compassion, and a nonjudgmental attitude towards clients' life experiences and challenges. Strong organizational and time-management skills to effectively handle fluctuating workloads and administrative tasks. Preferred Experience Experience working within diverse communities and addressing multicultural issues in therapy. Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and digital record-keeping systems. Knowledge and training in evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Systems Theory.
