Client: NASCO Role: Okta Engineer Location: Remote (no West Coast candidates) Duration: Through 12/31/2026 Rate: $ 90-95 /hr c2c Roles: 2

What we need is an Okta Sme (who can configure, implement, and design)

The candidate must have the following experience and be able to speak in detail:

• Deep Okta Workforce IAM Engineering (Beyond Administration)
• Okta Identity Engine (OIE) implementations
• Hands-on SAML and OIDC/OAuth2 integrations
• Multi-tenant identity patterns (clear separation of Workforce IAM vs CIAM)
• Advanced troubleshooting:
• Authentication loops
• Session and token behavior
• MFA inheritance and policy conflicts

2. Okta CIAM & API Driven Integration The candidate must have designed and operated CIAM environments, not just configured them. Required experience includes:

• CIAM tenant and architecture design
• External user lifecycle modeling
• API driven provisioning, updates, and deprovisioning
• Explicit separation of:
• "Create user" flows
• "Modify role/access" flows
• Understanding the security and audit implications of CIAM decisions

3. Okta Workflows — Production Grade Candidates must demonstrate:

• Complex branching and conditional logic
• Robust error handling and rollback strategies
• Integration with external systems and APIs
• Use of workflows as an operational queue, supporting production identity operations (aligned with formal SOW practices)

4. Enterprise Single Sign-On (SSO) 5. SailPoint Experience 6. Okta Access Gateway – Secure SSO for legacy and on-premises applications

Education: Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field
