As a Field Service Manager at United Rentals, you'll be the leader of a major maintenance enterprise. You'll have the opportunity to hire and motivate an amazing team of Field Service Technicians. You will have direct supervision responsibilities for all field repair and maintenance employees. You'll continually improve efficiency and customer satisfaction, by ensuring equipment is properly maintained and repaired. You will work closely with the Branch Manager, and help build a profitable location with your leadership, service and maintenance knowledge, and business management. What you'll do: Responsible for continually improving efficiency as well as customer and employee satisfaction within the field repair and maintenance teamOversee dispatch of field technicians within entire Metro Area territory to maximize efficiency and customer serviceWork closely with Operations Managers and Service Managers to ensure service is properly scheduled and executed to guarantee superior customer serviceMotivate, coach and train technicians to exceed time & quality standards and comply with standard repair and maintenance processesResponsible for R&M, P&L and associated costs/budgetOversee parts department activities, to ensure optimal customer service, technician/shops/OEC productivity and cost controlPromote a culture of safety and discipline through leadership, exemplary personal compliance, accountability and communicationOther duties assigned as needed Requirements: High School Diploma required; trade-School Degree a plus; bachelor's Degree preferredValid driver's license with acceptable driving recordExtensive Equipment Fleet Maintenance and leadership experience (10 years)Strong motivational and leadership skillsExcellent customer service skillsStrong knowledge of maintenance accounting and P&LBasic computer skills particularly with Microsoft Excel This position is deemed Safety Sensitive for purposes of United Rentals' policies and procedures. Compensation Range: $73,260.00 - $105,490.00
