Schedule Specialty: ED - Emergency Department Discipline: RN Start Date: 08/25/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Local Contract Schedule Notes: 8/25 Start Date 8 weeks 3x12s Days, 7a-7p, every other weekend and Holiday rotation Duties The practice of nursing requires specialized knowledge, judgment, and skills to provide care to groups and individuals. The RN utilizes knowledge derived from the principles of biological, physical, behavioral, social, and nursing sciences to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. All care is provided based on the concepts inherent in the model of care for TCH which promotes an on-going partnership between patients and families and the team of healthcare providers. The care is culturally based and age specific. The RN adheres to American Nursing Association (ANA) code of ethics and to the scope of practice described in the Ohio Nurse Practice Act. Unit Description: ED Main: Specialty: Adult cardiac care and complex internal medicine. Christ Hospital's 33‑bed emergency department includes experienced and trusted emergency care specialists: board‑certified emergency medicine physicians, trauma surgeons, nurses, physician assistants, and social workers. The department has a high acuity patient population and an all‑RN nursing staff. It is a fast‑paced environment requiring excellent critical thinking skills.
