As an Access Control Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, issue badges, and monitor access activity to support a secure environment. You will provide professional customer service, communicate clearly with employees and visitors, and help identify and report security-related concerns. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $13.09 / Hour Job Schedule: Wed 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Thur 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Fri 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Sat 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Sun 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorizations, issue and collect visitor badges, and maintain accurate access-related logs and records. Respond to access-control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures. Conduct regular and random patrols of manufacturing areas, offices, entry points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unauthorized access, unusual conditions, and security-related concerns. Support controlled movement of people, vehicles, materials, and deliveries in accordance with facility procedures while maintaining a professional presence at assigned access points. Minimum Requirements: Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience. Customer service experience is preferred. Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Be at least 21 years of age Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
