Overview

Our organization, dedicated to Women's Health, is composed of skilled Physicians who possess the expertise required to deliver obstetric and gynecological care tailored to the specific age groups of our patients.

Located in Trumbull, CT, our Women's Obstetrics & Gynecology practice is on the lookout for a full-time Physician to join our team. Currently, our medical staff includes 4 MDs, 1 ND, 1 PA, and 1 DO, all of whom share on-call duties and serve patients across two office locations. We maintain an affiliation with Bridgeport Hospital.

Applicants should be capable of diagnosing patient conditions and offering suitable treatment options. A solid understanding of fetal growth and development principles is essential, along with the ability to recognize and categorize the specific needs of patients based on their age.

Position Highlights:

• Conduct thorough physical examinations and gather patient medical information, including health history and examination results.
• Order or perform therapeutic procedures such as injections, immunizations, and basic wound care.
• Educate and counsel patients on adherence to prescribed treatment plans, normal growth and development, family planning, emotional challenges, and health maintenance.
• Create and implement patient management strategies, monitor hospitalized patients as necessary, document progress notes, and ensure continuity of care.
• Achieve proficiency in the Electronic Medical Record System.
• Submit billing at the time of patient visits.

Requirements:

• Experience in OB/GYN or Women's Health
• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical institution
• Board certified or board eligible
• Valid Connecticut medical license
• Federal and State controlled substance licenses
• BLS certification
• Eligibility for hospital privileges
• Strong communication skills (both verbal and written), active listening, and customer service abilities
