Job Description

Job Summary:
A Surgical Technologist is responsible for supporting surgical procedures by preparing operating rooms, sterilizing equipment, and assisting surgical teams during operations. This role ensures clinical efficiency and safety while maintaining sterile techniques and protocols.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare operating rooms with sterile instruments and supplies prior to procedures.
• Assist surgeons and healthcare staff during surgeries by passing instruments and maintaining a sterile environment.
• Operate and troubleshoot surgical equipment, including robotics, spine, and total joint tools.
• Maintain accurate documentation of procedures, supplies, and safety protocols.
• Follow strict infection control guidelines and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Attend mandatory morning report and be available for on-call, including holidays and weekends.

Qualifications:

• Obtain at least 2 years of experience as an OR/Surgical Technologist.
• Hold a valid BLS certification and CST credential.
• Demonstrate proficiency with Robotics, Spine, and Total Joint procedures.
• Possess excellent teamwork skills and attention to detail.
• Maintain vaccination requirements, including flu shot.
• Prior travel experience is preferred.
