Stock ExpeditorCentury Casegoods Plant 1 - Hickory, NC 28601OverviewPosition Type Full Time Job Shift DayDescriptionPulls and distributes stock listed on a pick sheet for the days production requirements.Duties:Pulls stock from inventory to meet plant needs for shiftLoads the stock on a truck using forklift, hand trucks, etc. as neededDistributes/unloads stock to designated locationsBuilds skids as neededUnboxes/uncrates finished product to add skid to baseKeeps stock moved in and out of inventory as directedHandling Slab Stock as neededObserves plant safety rulesKeeps work area clean and is quality conscious in performing dutiesPerforms other tasks as assigned by the SupervisorQualificationsPosition RequirementsHigh school diploma or GED preferredPrevious experience using a forklift preferredPhysical RequirementsThe physical demands and work environment expectations described below are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
