This role will own material-level forecasting for assigned product categories across multiple distribution channels, partnering with cross-functional teams to align demand assumptions, identify risks and opportunities, and support forecast decisions. The Senior Demand Planner is expected to create a demand plan that supports Brand financial targets while driving accuracy, transparency, and continuous improvement in the planning process.Primary Duties:Partner with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, and Operations to align on demand assumptions and forecast outcomesSupport planning and S&OP / IBP processes by communicating forecast changes, risks, and demand drivers clearly and consistentlyShare demand insights and recommendations in a clear, structured, and data-driven mannerDevelop and maintain demand forecasts across multiple time horizons using statistical forecasting methods, market inputs, historical sales data, and order book analysisTest and refine forecasting approaches, including baseline demand modeling, seasonality analysis, and trend adjustmentMonitor forecast accuracy and bias, investigate root causes of forecast error, and implement corrective actionsApply appropriate forecasting methodologies by product, customer, channel, or segment based on demand behaviorBuild, maintain, and enhance forecasting models within demand planning systems and analytical toolsTranslate statistical model outputs into operational forecasts aligned with planning and supply processesDocument assumptions, methodologies, and limitations to support forecast transparency and repeatabilityPartner with technology and planning teams to improve forecasting tools, system parameters, and automationIncorporate qualitative inputs such as promotions, pricing actions, market dynamics, and product lifecycle events into forecastsAssess the impact of demand drivers and external signals on forecast performance and planning riskProvide scenario analysis and sensitivity views to help support decision-making under uncertaintyContribute to improvements in forecast accuracy, model effectiveness, and planning efficiency through ongoing analysis and learningIdentify opportunities to standardize best practices, improve forecast governance, and reduce manual effortProvide subject matter expertise and support to planners and cross-functional partners on forecasting processes, tools, and assumptionsPerform duties consistent with the Company's AAP/EEO goals and policies.Perform other duties as required/assigned by manager.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations Research, Statistics, Economics, Data Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative field4–6 years of experience in demand planning, forecasting, supply chain planning, or related analytical rolesSolid understanding of statistical forecasting methods, including time-series analysis and regression-based approachesStrong Excel skills for large datasets, modeling, and validationExperience using demand planning or forecasting platforms (e.g., SAP IBP, Blue Yonder/JDA, Oracle Demantra, Kinaxis, or similar)Ability to analyze forecast performance, diagnose issues, and support improvements over timeWorking Conditions:Normal office environment.
