Position: Lead Full-Stack Developer (Java/React)
Location: Raleigh, NC

Duration: 12+ Months
Description: We're seeking a Lead Full-Stack Developer to drive the design, development, and maintenance of enterprise web applications. You'll work on a critical Medicaid Transformation project, leading front-end and back-end development with a focus on Java/JEE, Angular, and modern UI/UX. You'll collaborate across teams to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions, implement robust security, and ensure smooth deployment in an AWS-based environment.
5 Key Points:
- Lead development across Java/JEE backend and modern front-end (Angular 7, React UI) with REST/GraphQL services
- Build and maintain enterprise-grade web portals using Node.js, Express, Apollo GraphQL, Knex, Passport (SAML) and related tech
- Strong AWS exposure (Fargate, ECS, ECR, Lambda, S3, AWS SDK) and container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Database experience with Amazon Postgres; integration, performance tuning, and data persistence layers
- Agile mindset with excellent communication; able to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions
Required/Desirable Skills:
- 5+ years overall experience; 2+ years with Angular 7; 2+ years with React UI, Apollo GraphQL, Knex, Passport, Passport-SAML; 2+ years with Express/Express-GraphQL; 3+ years Spring Boot; 3+ years JavaScript, Node.js, REST APIs
- AWS expertise (Fargate/ECS/ECR, S3, Lambda) and Docker/Kubernetes; AWS certification a plus
- Experience with security layers, multi-tier architecture, and large-scale transformation programs
- Excellent written/verbal communication; ability to present to technical and business audiences
- Local candidates preferred
