What You'll Do As our Environmental Lead, you'll drive business growth while providing strategic leadership for environmental projects throughout the Greater Los Angeles Region. Practice Growth: Expand Environmental Services across the Greater Los Angeles Region through strategic business development and client engagement. Client Leadership: Build and strengthen relationships with agencies, municipalities, utilities, and private-sector clients. Project Leadership: Serve as Senior Project Manager or Principal-in-Charge, overseeing project delivery, technical quality, budgets, and schedules. Business Development: Lead pursuits, proposals, presentations, interviews, and contract negotiations while partnering with technical experts across multiple environmental disciplines. Technical Oversight: Guide multidisciplinary teams delivering CEQA/NEPA compliance, permitting, biological resources, cultural resources, air quality, noise, and related environmental services. Industry Presence: Represent Psomas through professional organizations, conferences, and community engagement. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in environmental science, land development, planning/policy, wildlife biology, or a related discipline. 15+ years of environmental consulting experience with demonstrated technical leadership. Proven success, growing client relationships and winning new business. Experience serving as Senior Project Manager, Principal-in-Charge, or similar leadership role. Strong understanding of CEQA/NEPA and California environmental permitting. Established network within the Greater Los Angeles Region public sector market is highly desirable. Compensation & Benefits Salary: $140,000-$200,000 (commensurate with experience). Incentives: Discretionary bonus and recognition programs. Time Off: 3-4 weeks PTO plus 8 paid holidays.
