We are looking for an experienced Sr. Customer Service Representative to support customer accounts and sales coordination for a semiconductor and electric components manufacturer in DeKalb, Illinois. This contract position with permanent potential is ideal for someone who excels at building strong client relationships, managing order-related communication, and keeping customers informed throughout the fulfillment process. The role works closely with sales, production, and shipping partners to ensure accurate information, timely delivery, and responsive service.

Responsibilities:
• Build and strengthen relationships with current customers and external sales representatives while identifying opportunities to expand business within existing and prospective accounts.
• Prepare and communicate pricing details, product specifications, order updates, and delivery information to help customers make informed purchasing decisions.
• Partner with internal production teams to confirm manufacturing timelines and align shipment dates with customer expectations.
• Coordinate with freight carriers and outbound logistics providers to support accurate, on-time product deliveries.
• Maintain customer pricing records and update price sheets to reflect current commercial terms.
• Compile sales activity data and distribute regular reports to support visibility into account performance and business trends.
• Support the return material authorization process for customer returns by helping document requests, track status, and communicate next steps.
• Respond to customer inquiries with professionalism and urgency while delivering a high standard of service across phone and email channels.• 3+ years of experience in customer service, account support, or inside sales, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver excellent customer support while managing multiple accounts and priorities effectively.
• Experience handling customer communication in a call center or high-volume service setting is preferred.
• Proficiency with Windows-based computer systems and common business software applications.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact confidently with customers, sales partners, and internal teams.
• Ability to manage pricing information, sales reporting, and order-related details with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with shipping coordination, freight communication, or order fulfillment processes is a plus.
