We are seeking a Senior Benefits Specialist who brings strong benefits administration expertise, a service-oriented mindset, and the ability to manage details with accuracy, discretion, and urgency.This is a hands-on role where you will support the day-to-day administration of Prysmian’s health and welfare programs, retirement-related processes, leave of absence coordination, vendor interactions, employee inquiries, and compliance activities. The ideal candidate is highly organized, collaborative, analytical, and comfortable balancing routine administration with escalated employee and HR partner needs.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport Benefits Administration & Employee ServiceSupport day-to-day administration of health and welfare plans, wellness programs, voluntary benefits, and related employee benefit processes across North AmericaRespond to employee, manager, and HR Business Partner inquiries, providing timely, accurate, and service-focused supportResearch and resolve escalated benefit issues by partnering with vendors, payroll, HRIS, and internal stakeholdersSupport annual enrollment, new hire enrollment, life event changes, eligibility updates, and employee communicationsMaintain Data Accuracy & ReportingPerform regular audits and reconciliations to ensure eligibility, enrollment, payroll deduction, and vendor data accuracyUse Excel and reporting tools to analyze benefit data, identify discrepancies, and support corrective actionPrepare recurring and ad hoc reports, summaries, and tracking documents for the Benefits Manager and Total Rewards leadershipCoordinate Leave of Absence SupportSupport leave of absence administration, including FMLA, ADA, state leave programs, company leave policies, and return-to-work coordinationPartner with employees, HR Business Partners, payroll, and external vendors to help ensure accurate, timely, and compliant leave processingTrack cases, follow up on outstanding items, and escalate complex matters to the Benefits Manager as appropriatePartner with Vendors & Internal TeamsServe as a key liaison with carriers, administrators, TPAs, and other benefit vendors to resolve employee and plan administration issuesMonitor vendor follow-up items, service issues, and process gaps, escalating trends or concerns to the Benefits ManagerSupport vendor implementations, renewals, file feeds, testing, and ongoing process improvementsEnsure Compliance & GovernanceAssist with compliance-related activities, including required notices, plan documentation, audits, reporting, and recordkeepingSupport Form 5500, ACA, COBRA, HIPAA, ERISA, and other benefit compliance processes in partnership with the Benefits Manager, legal, vendors, and consultantsMaintain strong attention to detail and confidentiality when handling employee information, benefit records, and sensitive mattersWhat You Bring4–6 years of experience in benefits administrationStrong working knowledge of self-insured health and welfare benefits, leave of absence administration, and employee benefit processesExperience working with benefits vendors, carriers, TPAs, HRIS platforms, and payroll teamsStrong Excel skills, including data validation, reconciliations, pivot tables, lookups, and reportingFamiliarity with benefits compliance requirements, including ERISA, ACA, HIPAA, COBRA, FMLA, ADA, and applicable state leave programsAbility to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and follow through on details in a fast-paced environmentExcellent communication, customer service, problem-solving, and follow-up skillsHigh degree of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality when working with sensitive employee information-----------------------------------------Job Offer Fraud AlertWe take the security of our candidates seriously.
