Travel Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in Dillon, SC

Make a real difference as a travel Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in Dillon, SC. You will work with patients recovering from injuries or illness, helping them move better, feel better, and stay active under the guidance of a licensed Physical Therapist. The PTA implements treatment plans, documents progress with measurable functional goals, communicates with the interdisciplinary team, and participates in professional development activities.

Minimum Qualifications

• Associate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited educational program.
• Active South Carolina PTA license required.
• BLS certification required from AHA.
• Experience administering therapeutic interventions for musculoskeletal, neurological, cardiovascular, and developmental impairments in an outpatient or hospital setting preferred.
• Experience maintaining patient records, progress notes, charges, and discharge summaries according to facility policy preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience working in an outpatient clinic environment preferred.
• Experience collaborating with physical therapists on goal setting and treatment planning preferred.

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: Monday through Thursday 0800-1700; Friday 0800-1200.
• Setting: Outpatient clinic hours as specified above.
• Must have active SC license as PTA.
• AHA BLS certification required.
