Job Summary:
The Surgical Operating Room (OR) Nurse Circulator position is located in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. Candidates are responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating perioperative patient care in a busy surgical environment. The role requires assisting with general and neuro surgeries, including experience with robotic and positioning equipment. Candidates must bring their nursing license on the first day.

Job Details:

• Location: Cape Girardeau, Missouri
• Schedule: Day shift, four 10-hour shifts per week, with a limit of three Fridays or Mondays off within a six-week schedule
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license; at least 1+ years of experience as a circulating RN in an operating room setting, specifically with neuro surgeries; experience with DaVinci Xi robotic system, Hana Table, Arthrex tower, and Beach Chair positioning; certifications including Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association (AHA).
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in trauma, teaching hospital environments, and proficiency with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems such as EPIC and Meditech.
• Additional Information: Flu vaccination required from November 1 to April 1 unless exempted and approved by the client. This is NOT an auto-offer position. Candidates are expected to accept floating within their scope of practice and have explored housing options in the area.
