About the Role Lead and coach a team of associates to deliver exceptional client service, establish the branch as the bank of choice in the local community, and achieve growth goals. Manage branch operations, P&L, and staffing levels while ensuring compliance with operational guidelines. Partner closely with cross‑functional leaders within Retail and across the bank to provide client solutions aligned with the Retail business strategy. Demonstrate knowledge of core products and the Columbia Business/Consumer Financial Review process. Develop strong, long‑term relationships with consumers, public figures, businesses, and charitable organizations in the local community. Embody and lead the bank’s core values in all interactions. About You High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s, Bachelor’s, Vocational, or Technical Degree in banking, business, or related field preferred. At least 3 years of prior banking experience, including consumer lending and exposure to business lending origination. At least 2 years of management experience in banking or retail, including team leadership, coaching, daily supervision, labor law compliance, performance management, hiring and termination. Extensive knowledge of banking products and services with demonstrated business acumen. Proficiency in consumer lending, experience managing deposit and loan portfolios, and prior exposure to business lending. Membership in local community organizations, demonstrating community leadership. Strong attention to detail, multi‑tasking ability, proficiency with spreadsheets and banking computer systems, and comfort with office equipment. Compliance with all Federal, State, and local consumer protection laws, including the SAFE Act and its registration and renewal rules as applicable. Will act as a Bank MLO, authorized to take mortgage loan applications and advise customers on open‑end transactions such as home equity lines of credit. Notary certification preferred. Pay & Benefits Pay range: $60,000 – $90,000, with potential performance‑based incentive compensation. The selected candidate’s pay will be determined by job‑related knowledge, skills, experience, education, and geographic location.
