Make a positive difference in the educational journey of students as a dedicated part-time School Psychologist. In this contract role, you will work approximately 20 hours per week, collaborating with educators and families to help students achieve their full potential. Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Current certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
- Experience conducting and interpreting initial IEPs, 504 plans, and re-evaluations
- Strong understanding of assessment practices, report writing, and compliance requirements
- Exceptional communication and consultation skills with students, staff, and families
- Ability to support students in a small-group counseling setting is a plus
- Effective organizational and time management skills to balance multiple responsibilities
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive initial evaluations and re-evaluations for special education eligibility
- Liaise with teachers and parents to develop and implement IEPs and 504 plans
- Maintain accurate, timely records and reports in accordance with regulatory guidelines
- Provide, or assist with, small group counseling services as needed
- Serve as a resource for staff, offering strategies and insights for student behavioral and emotional success
- Participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities
