Pharmacist | Bellevue, Washington

A pharmacist role is available to contribute to the inpatient pharmacy's distribution functions in a healthcare setting near Seattle, WA. This contract position offers an ASAP start, extending for 16 weeks with the possibility of transitioning to a permanent role.


Schedule:

• Variable days and afternoons
• 8-hour shifts

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders accurately using Epic
• Perform final product verification checks to ensure patient safety
• Respond to clinical questions and provide drug information
• Supervise and oversee pharmacy technician activities
• Participate in Code Blue/emergency response situations
• Utilize IT systems including Epic and Pyxis to support pharmacy operations

Desired Skills and Experience:

• Licensed pharmacist with experience in inpatient pharmacy settings
• Proficiency in Epic and Pyxis systems
• Strong clinical knowledge and the ability to provide accurate drug information
• Experience in supervising pharmacy technicians
• Ability to respond effectively during emergency situations such as Code Blue events
