Seven Healthcare are seeking an experienced RN - PCU for an exciting travel assignment in Louisville, KY. This role focuses on providing specialized care within a mixed-acuity Progressive Care Unit. Candidates will work in a fast-paced environment, catering to a diverse patient population with conditions such as arrhythmias, COPD, CHF, and more.

Key Responsibilities of the RN - PCU

• Manage patient care for those with arrhythmias, COPD, CHF, pacemakers
• Coordinate with the vascular access team and utilize support staff
• Administer IV medication including insulin, heparin, and amio drips
• Perform wound dressings and vac management
• Monitor patients using EMR and telemetry systems

Requirements of the RN - PCU

• BLS certification
• NIHSS certification
• A minimum of 2 years PCU experience
• Proficiency in insulin and heparin administration
• Experience with high flow oxygen and stable BiPAP management
