How You'll Make An Impact In This Role

• Provide expert, direct nursing care for critically ill newborns.
• Continuously assess, monitor, and interpret complex physiological data. You will proactively adjust care plans in real-time, ensuring that every shift in a neonate's status is met with an immediate, expert response.
• Serve as the central coordinator for a massive multidisciplinary team to ensure a unified, "whole-baby" approach to healing.
• As the primary educator and translator for families in crisis; you will coordinate complex discharge planning, transforming parents into confident caregivers for their medically fragile infants.

What Minimum Requirements You'll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Indiana Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• Certification specializing in Neonatal Resuscitation credentialed from the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) preferred.
• Certification specializing in The S.T.A.B.L.E Program preferred.

Education:

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
