Desired Experience & Qualifications: Valid and active Colorado Department of Education (CO DOE) certification in Special Education Experience working with elementary and/or secondary students with affective, structured learning, or significant support needs (SSN) A flexible, collaborative mindset to adapt to the needs of different school communities Strong communication skills for partnering with staff, students, and families Ability to manage and adapt to a dynamic caseload Commitment to fostering an inclusive, supportive classroom environment Key Responsibilities: Deliver specialized instruction tailored to individual student needs following IEP goals Work collaboratively with general education teachers, support staff, and families Provide direct intervention and behavioral support as needed Maintain accurate records, progress monitoring, and compliance documentation Adapt teaching methods to suit unique learning differences Serve as an advocate for students, promoting their academic and social growth Opportunities span multiple school sites in the North Denver area, including full-time roles at Centennial, Westview, Eagleview, Westlake, and Northglenn campuses.
