Phlebotomist

Labcorp seeks a phlebotomist for its Christiansburg, Virginia location to perform blood collections, process specimens, and provide patient service. The position operates Monday through Friday, 8am-5pm, with opportunities for career advancement in a diagnostic laboratory setting.
Responsibilities
- Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections across all age groups
- Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, and alcohol testing
- Enter patient data and maintain specimen information logs accurately
- Prepare collected specimens for testing and process billing information
- Provide customer service and perform administrative duties as assigned
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Phlebotomy certification or completed accredited training program
- 3+ months phlebotomy experience or current certification
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to pass standardized color blindness test
- Reliable transportation; flexible for overtime
Compensation: $17.75 - $26.00 per hour
