Commercial Parts Pro Store

Professional level sales position supporting advanced functions on the commercial side of the business. Responsible for profitable growth through customer retention and growth, partnering with the GM to manage team members. Requires expert knowledge of automotive systems and parts, ability to source parts from multiple channels, and direct drivers to ensure timely delivery. Full-time. Primary Responsibilities Maintain commercial customer relationships Provide GAS2 selling experience to commercial customers Achieve personal/store sales goals and service objectives Provide day-to-day supervisory support for team members Collaborate with GM on coaching and development needs for team members Dispatch drivers ensuring delivery standards are achieved Maintain commercial stocking programs Build and maintain a network of second source suppliers Secondary Responsibilities Maintain core bank and commercial returns Maintain commercial credit accounts Partner with GM to ensure proper driver coverage Success Factors & Essential Job Skills Friendly communication Ability to locate and stock parts Safety knowledge and skills Operating inventory systems and store equipment Parts and automotive system knowledge skills Operating POS and parts lookup systems ASE P2 certified or equivalent Advanced solution, project and product quality recommendation ability Advanced selling skills for commercial customers Ability to multi-task and stay organized Effective communication, listening, and problem solving skills Essential Skills and Qualifications Working knowledge of automotive systems and diagnostic ability Proficient in English (Spanish a plus) Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and procedure manuals Strong written correspondence skills Understand and execute written, oral, or diagram instructions Successfully complete the Parts Knowledge Assessment Basic math skills Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel Strong organizational skills Understand commercial profitability concepts and pricing strategy Availability to work varied days, evenings, and weekends as needed Experience Minimum 3 years of automotive parts experience preferred Proven sales ability with experience in customer transactions Formal or informal experience leading teams and supervising daily tasks Education High school diploma or GED Certificates ASE Certification preferred Physical Demands The job requires walking or standing, using hands and fingers, reaching, climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and occasionally lifting up to 100 pounds. Vision required for close, distance, color, depth perception. Work Environment Mostly indoor work with occasional outdoor exposure. Work involves mechanical parts, high places, chemicals, electrical shock risk, vibration, moderate noise. Position is eligible for sales commission based on individual or store performance.
