Description

• Conduct comprehensive assessments for patients in either inpatient or outpatient domains, crafting personalized treatment strategies
• Implement therapeutic interventions focused on enhancing mobility, strength, balance, and overall functional capability
• Work closely with a multidisciplinary team including nurses, doctors, and other rehabilitation professionals to optimize patient outcomes
• Guide patients and families through therapeutic goals and provide insights into discharge planning and home exercise routines
• Maintain accurate documentation of evaluations, treatments, and patient progress in line with facility protocols
• Engage in care team meetings and collaborative discussions to ensure unified patient care

Education

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or a relevant degree from an accredited institution

Certifications

• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist
• CPR certification is desirable
• Specialty certifications (i.e., neurological, geriatric) are beneficial but not mandatory

Skills

• A robust background in physical therapy is highly preferred
