Lead Electronics Engineer

Eaton’s ES AMER ARS division is currently seeking a Lead Electronics Engineer. This position offers a HYBRID work schedule Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm at our Moon Twp, PA Pittsburgh Eaton location. Relocation assistance will also be provided, if needed. In this role, you will perform products design for Eaton’s Residential circuit breakers with Arc Fault and ground fault protection. As a Lead Electronics Engineer, you’ll work on new products developments projects from the initial concept through the production launch. Additionally, you’ll work to keep third party certifications and compliance with standards, supporting the resolution of production, product quality issues and addressing customer application issues.The expected annual salary range for this role is $97000 - $143000 a year. What you’ll do: In this role: • Support in the design and development of complex analog and digital circuits, including power supplies, signal conditioning, and microprocessor support circuits. • Develop circuit breaker electronics design, testing and applications along with the applicable governing regulatory standards (UL, CSA, IEC, NEMA, etc.).• Support firmware and software developments for embedded systems/micro-controllers• Work with and provide direction and mentoring team members.• Support production and field issues and work closely with manufacturing teams and field service teams in a timely manner.• Performs and contributes to technical research and investigations.• Contribute to domestic and international project teams assigned to research, design, develop, test and/or launch new products; ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. • Handle multiple projects and priorities, with the ability to switch focus as priorities change.Qualifications:Required (Basic) Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Eelctronics Engineering, Computer Science or related field of study from an accredited institution. Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical/electronic engineering design rolesMust be willing to relocate to Moon Twp PA (Pittsburgh area).
