Pay: $14.85 – $15.50 per hour
Job Type: Full-Time
Setting: Licensed Preschool / Childcare Center
Credential Preferred: CDA, TCC, or Early Childhood Education Credentials
Join a Team That Makes an Impact Every DayFuture Leaders of Excellence (FLOE) is seeking a dependable, energetic, and caring Lead Preschool Teacher to lead a classroom of young learners in a structured, nurturing, and engaging early childhood environment.
We’re looking for someone who can confidently lead a classroom, build positive relationships with children and families, and create a learning space where children feel safe, supported, and excited to learn.

What You'll Do- Lead daily classroom instruction and routines
- Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans
- Support children’s social, emotional, and academic development
- Maintain a structured, safe, and engaging classroom environment
- Supervise and collaborate with assistant teachers
- Monitor and document developmental progress
- Maintain open and professional communication with families
- Ensure compliance with Tennessee childcare licensing standards
- Participate in staff meetings, trainings, and ongoing professional development
- High school diploma or GED required
- Must meet Tennessee childcare licensing requirements
- Ability to work full-time in an active classroom setting
- Ability to pass required background checks and screenings
- Must complete required training and compliance certifications
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and actively engage with children throughout the day
- CDA (Child Development Associate)
- TCC in Early Childhood Education
- Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
- Previous childcare, preschool, or daycare experience
- Experience leading a classroom or mentoring assistant teachers
- CPR & First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Familiarity with lesson planning and developmental milestones
