Responsibilities

Assist with patient check-in processes, including greeting and guiding patients through the registration or check-in procedures using kiosk or handheld devices

Help maintain a professional and welcoming environment in the waiting area

Provide support to clinical staff by filling in for phlebotomists in draw rooms as needed

Support front desk operations by acting as a greeter and ensuring patients feel comfortable while waiting

Maintain accurate records and documentation related to patient interactions and procedures

Ensure adherence to safety protocols and confidentiality standards at all times

Demonstrate a positive professional image while promoting organizational commitment and excellent customer service

Be willing to learn and assist with phlebotomy procedures once trained, supporting the team in various roles as necessary

Required Skills

High level of customer service skills and the ability to handle patients with care and compassion

Experience with patient check-in processes and handling patient interactions confidently

Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in record keeping and data entry

Ability to work both in front lobby and in draw rooms as needed

Basic keyboard/data entry skills to manage documentation efficiently

Additional Skills & Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required

Minimum of 1-2 years of client-facing customer service experience (retail, home health aide, etc.)

Prior phlebotomy experience or certification is required

Reliable transportation to the worksite; candidates must be within a 20-25 minute commute

Willingness to work flexible hours, including scheduled shifts and potential coverage in draw rooms

Availability to work consistently and punctually; excessive absenteeism or tardiness may lead to termination

This is an entry-level position with potential for growth into phlebotomy duties upon training
