Part Time Speech and Language Pathologist

Job Description Job Posting Part-time Speech-Language Pathologist Location Cuyahoga Heights Local Schools, Ohio. Position Type: Part-time (2 days per week) Position Overview Cuyahoga Heights Local Schools is seeking a dedicated and collaborative Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide school-based services on a part-time basis (2 days per week) for the 2026-2027 school year. The SLP will work directly with students to support communication, language, and speech needs that impact their educational access and progress. Responsibilities Provide direct and consultative speech-language therapy services in accordance with students' IEPs. Conduct assessments and contribute to evaluation reports as needed. Collaborate with teachers, intervention specialists, related service providers, and families to support student success. Maintain accurate documentation and progress monitoring in compliance with IDEA and district guidelines. Participate in IEP meetings and student service team discussions when scheduled on working days. Promote functional communication skills to support student engagement in academic and social settings. Qualifications Current Ohio Speech-Language Pathologist License required. Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program. Prior experience in school-based SLP services preferred. Strong knowledge of IDEA, IEP process, and school-based service delivery models. Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills. Compensation & Schedule Competitive daily rate commensurate with experience. Part-time position, 2 days per week, 2026-2027 school year. Schedule will align with district needs and candidate availability.
