West Oaks Hospital has provided psychiatric care to the Houston area and surrounding communities for over three decades. Our 176-bed acute care facility is fully accredited and includes a 16-bed residential treatment center for adult chemical dependency. We offer a broad range of behavioral health programs for children, adolescents, and adults. Treatment is offered at multiple levels of care including inpatient, partial hospitalization, and intensive outpatient. We are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week to assist you and answer your questions about treatment options and insurance coverage. The hospital is easily accessible off the Southwest Freeway near the Galleria.

West Oaks Hospital is seeking a dynamic and talented Director of Social Work to join our team of compassionate, dedicated professionals. The Director of Social Services will be responsible for directing, facilitating, and monitoring the quality of Social Services to meet the goals of West Oaks Hospital. In addition, provides direct care to patients with psychiatric and substance abuse conditions. Responsible for collaborating with the patient's family, multidisciplinary team, and community agencies to support and coordinate treatment and discharge planning.

Qualifications Requirements:

• Education Required: Master's Degree in Psychology, Counseling/Social Work or related field.
• Licensure and certification Required: LCSW, or LMSW in Texas.
• Experience Required: Five (5) years of post-master's experience and/or as a licensed professional in a psychiatric setting or related field; and 3 years of management experience.
