Job Description And Position Requirements The Department of Philosophy at The Pennsylvania State University invites applications for Adjunct Lecturer openings. Job Duties Part-time Lecturers will teach undergraduate courses in Philosophy. Candidates with Ph.D. degrees in the discipline may also be assigned to teach upper-level undergraduate and graduate courses. Requirements And Qualifications A Master’s degree in a related field is required. In addition, successful candidates must either have demonstrated a commitment to building an inclusive, equitable, and diverse campus community, or describe one or more ways they would envision doing so, given the opportunity. The start date for Fall 2026 appointments is August 24, 2026 . These are one semester, non-tenure track appointments with the possibility of reappointment.
