Veterinary Assistant Atlas Vet

AtlasVet is looking for an experienced Veterinary Assistant to join our growing team in the heart of Washington, DC!

We are a fast-paced, progressive, AAHA-accredited hospital with a collaborative culture that values growth, communication, and exceptional patient care. Schedule:

• Four 10-hour shifts per week
• Ideally two opening shifts and two closing shifts
• Rotating Saturdays

Hospital Hours:

• MondayThursday: 8:00 AM 8:00 PM
• Friday: 8:00 AM 6:00 PM
• Saturday: 8:00 AM 4:00 PM

What You'll Bring:

• Minimum of 2 years of veterinary hospital experience
• Preferred proficiency in:
• IV catheter placement
• Venipuncture
• Anesthesia monitoring
• Anesthetic calculations
• Client communication and education
• Dental prophylaxis
• Dental radiography
• Assisting with and driving surgical flow efficiently
