A Brief Overview Responsible for the collection, transmission, record keeping and charging of various types of cardiac testing including, but not limited to; electrocardiograms, rhythm strips and stress tests. What you will do Cares for assigned patients under the guidance of the physician and respiratory therapist on duty. Assists with cleaning and disinfecting of department equipment. Assists with planning and development of new programs. Assists with orientation of new hires in the department. Participates in educational programs, in-services and co-workers meetings. Assists with collection and maintenance of records as needed by the Quality Assessment and Improvement department, Critical Access Hospital accreditation, OSHA guidelines, or as may be required by law. Essential Qualifications The individual must be able to work the hours specified. Required Education, License/Certification, or Work Experience: High School or GED Equivalent Preferred Education, License/Certification, or Work Experience: 1-3 years Experience in a health care setting preferred.
