Based out of our Palo Alto office, you will drive your team while collaborating closely with key partners and stakeholders across our teams in Bangalore and Seattle to foster a cohesive and inclusive team culture. You will provide the structure needed to prioritize high-impact work while empowering your team with the flexibility to deliver beyond expectations.Key Responsibilities: Drive the roadmap and vision with key stakeholdersDiagnose and resolve obstacles that block the team from delivering quality softwareChampion continuous improvement, a customer-first mindset, and engineering excellenceApply first-principles thinking to help the team work through complex technical problemsDistill complex, ambiguous situations into actionable plans for your teamRepresent the customer's perspective, anticipate how they're impacted by what you build, and work to enable their successEnable the team to self-organize and sustain high velocity and predictabilityGrow employees through career development, coaching, and mentoringProvide a clear path for progression through personal development plans, goal-setting, evaluations, and collaboration with employees on their objectivesPreferred Qualifications:BS CS/EE or equivalent with 10+ years of industry experience, of which 3+ years is in Engineering Management.Experience with SaaS enterprise software development built and delivered on any of AWS, Azure, or GCP.Experience running engineering storage, compute, and infrastructure teams that work on SaaS and On-prem enterprise platforms.Deep understanding of distributed systems and file system architectures.Experience hiring and developing teams within an existing organization to work side-by-side with other teams.Experience developing team identity, empowering direct reports, and building career growth options for your team.Experience working directly with customers and vendors.Experience building and cultivating strong engineering practices and processes.Proven experience leading and mentoring distributed, cross-functional teams across multiple time zones.#LI-UV1The minimum and maximum base salaries for this role are posted below; additionally, the role is eligible for bonus potential, equity and benefits.
