Rad Tech / X-Ray Tech - Travel Job

Jackson HealthPros is excited to add an experienced Radiologic Technologist / X-Ray Technologist to our team where you will be responsible for performing a variety of radiographic procedures to produce high-quality diagnostic images, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the process.

Minimum Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
• ARRT certification required.
• BLS (AHA) certification required.
• At least 2 years of radiologic technologist experience.
• Experience with Radnet and Merge Unity preferred.
• Experience using GE and Toshiba equipment preferred.
• Experience performing brain, MRCP, abdominal, pelvis, and extremity imaging preferred.
• Experience in a high-volume environment. Typical department conducts approximately 100 studies per day.
• Cerner charting experience preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience in hospital settings.
• Experience working with in-house radiologists and rotating call schedules.
• Previous float experience to other nearby facilities preferred.

Assignment Details

• Shift pattern: Days, every other weekend.
• Guaranteed hours: 40 hours per week.
• Orientation: Approximately 12 hours; department-specific orientation by lead tech for at least one week.
• Float requirement: May be required to float to nearby facility (approximately 6.5 miles away).
• Department has 2 scanners/rooms.
• Call/standby requirement: Rotating call with a 30-minute response time.
• Holiday requirement: Coverage for 1 major and 1 minor holiday.
• Scrub color: Teal.
