Sales Representative

Position Overview

Qualified candidates must be results-driven Sales Representatives who actively seek out and engage customer prospects. You will provide complete and appropriate solutions for every customer to drive revenue growth, customer acquisition, and profitability.

The candidate will represent Our Client's services using approved practices and marketing materials. You will also be required to attend client meetings, marketing events, and trade shows as appropriate.

Responsibilities

• Attend marketing events as required and distribute marketing materials.
• Set up and take down marketing displays as needed.
• Provide quantitative data to support the results of marketing events to management.
• Develop and maintain current knowledge of Our Client's services, industry trends, and competitive information.
• Actively participate in key local industry groups and associations.
• Identify and resolve client concerns to grow overall sales.
• Work collaboratively with local and national operations teams to promote customer satisfaction, sales growth, and the success of the organization.

Requirements

• Present and sell Our Client's services to current and potential clients as directed by the Sales and Marketing Account Manager.
• Follow up on new leads and referrals resulting from field activity.
• Identify and network with new sales prospects.
• Work as a team with local and national operations to promote customer satisfaction and sales growth.
• Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of customer service principles and practices.
• Work under time constraints to meet specific timelines.
• Attend Our Client-sponsored operations and safety training courses as required.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to persuade and influence others.
• Ability to develop and deliver presentations.
• Proven track record of exceeding sales goals.
• Solid reading, writing, and math skills.
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Word, spreadsheets, internet, CRM programs, and smartphones.
• Maintain a professional appearance and provide a positive company image to the public.
• Ability to multitask and excel in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Valid state driver's license and safe driving record.
• Ability to travel locally on a significant basis.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule and occasional overnight travel.
• 3+ years of experience in B2B sales.
• Experience implementing marketing and sales programs preferred.
• Experience in restoration, insurance, or construction preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.

Physical Demands

• Occasional lifting of 5–40 lbs. unassisted (25%–50% of the time).
• Standing for extended periods of time.
• Manual dexterity needed for keyboarding and other repetitive tasks.
• Ability to bend, crouch, or stand as necessary.
