Director, AI & Advanced Analytics

CSL's R&D organization is accelerating innovation to deliver greater impact for patients. This role is available in our King of Prussia, PA, Waltham, MA or Maidenhead, UK offices and is a hybrid position – onsite three days a week. Key Responsibilities Translate AI/ML and automation strategies into executable plans and projects across R&D functions. Lead development and operationalization of solutions, models, workflows, and agentic tools to support R&D goals. Champion governance practices for AI/ML and automation, including ethical use, validation, and MLOps. Facilitate user adoption through training, community building (e.g., guilds), and communication of success stories. Ensure alignment with enterprise data platforms and existing workflows for seamless integration. Qualifications & Experience Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. Proven experience implementing digital solutions in a scientific, engineering, or technical environment. Strong knowledge of emerging digital technologies relevant to R&D. Experience delivering solutions using agentic development tools such as Claude, Code, and Codex. Proficiency in data science platforms, MLOps, scripting, and automation tools. Base salary range for this position at Waltham, MA is $228,000–$270,000. Total compensation may also include incentive pay and equity, based on qualifications, skill level, and experience.
