Our Leadership Development Program is a multi-year, rotational experience designed to accelerate high-potential early career talent into future leaders.

You will work on high-impact initiatives, leveraging data, AI, and digital capabilities to solve real business problems.

This program goes beyond traditional rotations. You will build technical breadth and depth, business acumen, and leadership capability simultaneously, positioning you to drive meaningful transformation from day one.

What You’ll Do

• Rotate across core capability areas, such as:
  • Applied AI & Analytics
  • Data Engineering & Platforms
  • Cybersecurity
  • Strategy & Transformation
  • Agile Roles
  • Software Engineering
  • Process & Continuous Improvement
• Deliver real business impact
  • Analyze complex datasets and generate insights to inform strategy
  • Build models, applications, dashboards, or automation solutions
  • Lead project workstreams tied to enterprise priorities
• Develop leadership capabilities
  • Influence stakeholders and present recommendations to senior leaders
  • Participate in structured leadership development and coaching
  • Collaborate across business and technology teams
• Engage in hands-on innovation
  • Apply responsible AI practices and utilize and implement AI-assisted tools as well as other emerging technologies to solve business problems
  • Experiment with new tools, methodologies, and agile delivery models

Program Experience

• Multi-rotation structure (18 - 24 month experience)
• Enterprise exposure across business units and functions
• Mentorship, Professional Development, and Career Coaching
• Strong alumni network and career placement support

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in any analytical or technical field
  (e.g., Data Science, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Engineering, Analytics, Math, Information Systems)
• Anticipated graduation Date of December 2026 or May 2027
• Internship or academic project experience in analytics, technology, or business problem solving

Preferred

• Demonstrated ability to influence or lead without authority

Compensation

The listed annualized base pay range is primarily based on analysis of similar positions in the external market. Actual base pay could vary and may be above or below the listed range based on factors including but not limited to performance, proficiency and demonstration of competencies required for the role. The base pay is just one component of The Hartford’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include short-term or annual bonuses, long-term incentives, and on-the-spot recognition. The annualized base pay range for this role is:

$68,800 - $103,200
