Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN)

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Will work 3x12-hour shifts, Nights (7 PM - 7 AM), with a requirement for every other weekend.

Job Description

The Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) will provide critical care to patients in the emergency department, utilizing their experience and expertise to handle a wide range of emergency situations.

Responsibilities

• Assess and triage patients based on urgency and clinical need
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement comprehensive patient care plans
• Monitor patient conditions and respond to changes effectively
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation using Epic charting

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• A minimum of 2 years of emergency room experience is required
• Current South Carolina or Multi-State/Compact RN license
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS
• Preferred certifications: CPI, TNCC
